Handmade Cotechino

Our cotechino, made in Denmark with premium Duroc Ladegaard pork, follows Italian tradition for rich flavor and perfect texture.

 

The meat and rind are finely ground and mixed with the seasoning, then stuffed into a natural casing.

 

You can choose between raw or cooked cotechino. The cooked version, prepared at low temperature for 20 hours, is especially tender and flavorful.

 

How to cook it:

Prick the fresh cotechino with a toothpick to prevent it from bursting during cooking.

Place it in a pot with cold water and bring it to a boil.

Simmer on low heat for 4 hours.

Drain, remove the casing, and slice. Serve hot, typically with lentils or mashed potatoes.
